The Wynford Board of Education, administration, staff, and most importantly, the students, thank the Wynford community for their support in voting to renew the two levies that were put in front of the voters on Tuesday, March 6th. The passage of these two levies provides certainty in funding for the district through 2015. The Board of Education and adminstration promise to continue to be good stewards of the district's resources and to find innovative ways to provide increased educational opportunities for our students.

As we move into the final months of the school year we continue to build upon the academic success we achieved in 2011. Our state academic achievement scores for 2010-11 were our best ever and we are steadily moving towards our goal of being an "Excellent" rated district. Both the high school and junior high school were rated as "Excellent" buildings by the Ohio Department of Education.

The Wynford Local Schools is a proud and supportive school district that provides numerous educational opportunities to prepare students with 21st century skills in order to compete in a global economy. In addition to full curricular offerings in grades preschool through twelve, career and technical programs and courses are offered through Pioneer Career and Technology Center. A wide variety of honors level and college prep courses are available. Many Wynford students graduate with college credits through our agreements with post secondary institutions.

Wynford has a proud tradition in co/extra-curricular activities and believes that students benefit greatly by participating in these activities. We are proud of the success of our athletic teams, musical and performing arts groups, academic clubs, and student government.
