Welcome to the Wynford Local Schools website and to the 2011-12 school year! We hope this website and its links provide a format that proves easy to navigate and enables you to gain access to the information that you need regarding our schools.

The 2011-12 school year has gotten off to a great start and we are looking to build upon the successes of last year, especially and most importantly, in academic achievement.  Our state academic achievement scores for 2010-11 were our best ever and we are steadily moving towards our goal of being an "Excellent" rated district.  Both the high school and junior high school were rated as "Excellent" buildings by the Ohio Department of Education.

The Wynford Local Schools is a proud and supportive school district that provides numerous educational opportunities to prepare students with 21st century skills in order to compete in a global economy.  In addition to full curricular offerings in grades preschool through twelve, career and technical programs and courses are offered through Pioneer Career and Technology Center. A wide variety of honors level and college prep courses are available. Many Wynford students graduate with college credits through our agreements with post secondary institutions.

Wynford has a proud tradition in co/extra-curricular activities and believes that students benefit greatly by participating in these activities.  We are proud of the success of our athletic teams, musical and performing arts groups, academic clubs, and student government.
